This review is from: HDIUK 3m Portable Air conditioner Exhaust duct hose extension kit (2012 Improved version), Increase the length of your existing flexible hose Dear Readers: I ordered this hose on a reviewers chat about how this hose would expand my portable Air Conditioner. Well, let me be specific - First -the hose looks cheap eventhough the instructions said that this hose only looks flimsey. OK, I can appreciate that since many things do not look the way that they appear on Websites. I attached this hose to my own hose, and even this was a problem since this Extension hose is much larger than my portable. Secondly after attaching the hose, and turned the A/C on, it immediately (the hose) got super hot & my A/C didn't blow any cool air, and worse for me, the portable A/C stopped working. I've had this portable A/C for a long time and immediately took the hose off and after much anxiety, my A/C is back to normal. I will not blame the manufacturers for my rejection of this item, I am sure that maybe this might work for someone else, but for me - This Product is horrible!!!!
