SF-22a Refrigerant is a replacement for R22 substitutes and will work with those systems that until now only used R22. Super-Freeze is made of only the purest refined ingredients available today. SF-22a is non ozone-depleting, making it much more eco-friendly than the traditional R22. Super-Freeze is also much more efficient and affordable than R22. Because SF-22a Refrigerant is so efficient you will use up to 40% less! 20 lbs. of Super-Freeze 22a refrigerant is EQUIVALENT to 50 lbs. of R22. In most cases, Super-Freeze 22a Refrigerant is capable of delivering energy savings and will result in a considerable reduction in operating costs! Super-Freeze 22a refrigerant allows your system to operate with less head pressure, which extends unit life! Super-Freeze 22a Refrigerant also meets international standards such as-ISO 5149, BS 4434-1995, AS/NZS 1677 and ASHRAE 5149. This refrigerant is used mainly for home a/c units and is also a huge energy saver! Super-Freeze 22a Refrigerant is lighter and more efficient than HFC and CFC products, so you use less.
Also, it is non-toxic and non-carcinogenic with no long term health risks. Although this product is flammable, it will NOT autoignite below 800°F. Furthermore, ignition is ONLY possible if hydrocarbons are mixed with oxygen so that it forms a mixture containing 1.9% to 8.5% in the presence of open flames or sparks! Combustion is impossible outside of this very narrow window! Even your favorite action movies would struggle to ignite hydrocarbon refrigerant replacement products.
This product is not intended for 410a systems. In the USA only, Super-Freeze 22a is sold as a "second generation" replacement for R407c, R404a and MO99. Outside the US, SF-22a is sold as an R22 replacement.
